201 is a material of stainless steel. 201 stainless steel generally refers to the general term for 201 stainless steel and acid -resistant steel. 201 stainless steel refers to steel corroded with weak media such as atmosphere, steam, and water, while acid -resistant steel refers to steel that is corrosive of chemical -resistant medium such as acid, alkali, and salt.201 SS sheet is suitable for use in dry environments, which is not easy to rust and has a longer service life. 304 stainless steel is recommended near the sea and in wet environments.

 

An alloy of stainless steel known as type 201 includes more manganese and nitrogen and less nickel than other common steels. Due of its low nickel percentage, it is less costly than certain other alloys, but it is more difficult to work with and shape. Because Type 201 is a non-magnetic stainless steel with high amounts of chromium and nickel and low levels of carbon, it is an austenitic metal.

 

201 stainless steel plate has certain acid and alkali resistance, high density, polishing without bubbles, and no pinholes. It is mainly used for decorative stainless steel, industrial stainless steel, and some shallow stretched products. 201 stainless steel plate is mainly used for decorative pipes, industrial pipes, and some shallow stretched products. 201 stainless steel plate has the ability to resist general corrosion similar to unstable nickel chromium alloy 304. Long term heating of 201 stainless steel plate in the temperature range of chromium carbide degree may affect the performance of alloy 321 stainless steel plate and 347 in harsh corrosive media. 201 stainless steel plate is mainly used for high-temperature applications, which require the material to have strong anti sensitization properties to prevent intergranular corrosion at lower temperatures.
